Meetings run for one hour, from Noon to 1:00 PM, on Wednesday

 

Introduction and Business (5 to 10 minutes)

At Noon, the Seargent at Arms calls the meeting together and introduces the Club President.

The President conducts any needed club business and introduces the day's Toastmaster.

The Toastmaster welcomes the members and guests, introduces a theme for the meeting and then introduces each of the following participants.

The Timekeeper is introduced, stands, responds to the Theme of the Day, and gives the Timekeeper's instructions

The Clicker is introduced, stands, responds to the Theme of the Day, and gives the Clicker's instructions.

Speeches (7 to 25 minutes)

One to Three speakers are introduced.    Each responds to the Theme of the Day and gives their speech.

Table Topics (5 to 15 minutes)

The Toastmaster introduces a 'Topicsmaster' for the meeting.  As time allows. one to five members are called upon by the Topicsmaster to stand and give a one to two minute talk in response to a topic or idea presented by the Topicsmaster.

Evaluations (5 to 12 minutes)

The Toastmaster introduces the General Evaluator for the meeting.  The General Evaluator introduces one member for each speaker who will deliver a one to three minute evaluation of his speaker's speech.

The General Evaluator then gives a short evaluation of the meeting as a whole.

Awards  (2 minutes)

After each Speech and Evaluation members are encouraged to write down comments and suggestions for the speaker.  The are also invited to vote for the Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Tabletopics response.

The Toastmaster presents a ribbon to each of the three winners.

Following any closing comments from the Toastmaster, the meeting is adjourned.
