Toastmaster Awards and Recognition

At each meeting everyone gets a chance to speak.  If you are one of the scheduled speakers, or if you get picked for Table Topics, or if you are the evaluator for one of the speakers, you are eligible to win one of the following ribbons given at each meeting:
Best Speaker
Best Table Topics
Best Evaluator

Competent Toastmaster.

The first prepared speeches you will give at Toastmasters will be guided by a Competent Toastmaster (CTM) Manual.  It is a series of ten speeches, each building on skills of the previous speeches.

When you complete these speeches you will be awarded your CTM pin and certificate.   If you like, your manager at work will be notified by Toastmasters of your achievement.

Advanced Toastmaster.

After your CTM, you choose from over 15 different speaker's Manuals, each focusing in on a different advanced set of speaking skills.  Some examples of these advanced manuals are:

Speaking to Inform
Public Relations
The Discussion Leader
Technical Presentations
The Professional Sales Person
The Entertaining Speaker
Speeches by Management

When you have completed your first ten speeches from the advanced manuals you will be awarded your Advanced Toastmaster (ATM) award.

ATM is awarded at three progressive levels, Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
