SIRETTA
long associated with Broadway and Regional Theater,
has won several prestigious Tony and Drama Desk Award
nominations and has worked on several Broadway shows
with such notable producers as David Merrick, Alan J.
Lerner and Cameron Mackintosh.
During his
fifteen year tenure at the Goodspeed Opera House, he
first served as the resident director/choreographer
and later as the Associate Artistic Director.
Siretta was cited by critics as "Goodspeeds's moving
force" as he produced, directed and/or choreographed
some thirty musicals. Amongst them was the original
production "Annie", which then proceeded to
launch a long string of Goodspeed productions which
went on to Broadway, London and/or successful national
tours. It was during this time that the Goodspeed Opera
House won it's first Tony Award for contribution to
musical Theater. Nominated
for "Outstanding Director of a Musical" by
the Dallas Theater League, and WON the Award
for "Outstanding Choreography" for
this production of "Some Like It Hot".
His
talents have also afforded him the opportunity to have
his work represented at the Festival in Spoleto, Italy,
on stage in Canada, London and at The Kennedy Center.
