THE
PRODUCERS
DIANE
MASTERS has over 30 years of experience in handling
all aspects of mass market media production and publicity.
She has worked as a consultant for The New York Times
Syndicate, Simon and Schuster, and Ballentine Books
in their book and magazine divisions. She has
also been a recognized photo journalist, an author who
has published five novels and a founder of two fashion
magazines.
She
hosted and produced her own local television talk show
for three and a half years. She worked as a theatrical
press agent for two and a half years working on Off
Broadway productions. She produced and directed
for the Young People's Playhouse "Grease".
She worked closely with Bette Midler coordinating and
consulting Ms. Midler's Divine Miss M on Broadway as
well as working the Ms. Midler on her film "The
Rose".
JEFFREY
SPOLAN is cofounder of Spolan
& Masters Productions Inc. He has been a professional
actor/director and teacher for three decades.
Mr. Spolan formed his own theater company in Oregon
in which he wrote, directed and acted for a number of
years. Under the sponsorship of the City of Eugene,
Oregon his company performed regionally and later toured
in the Pacific Northwest. Later, he produced two
Cultural Arts Festivals for the City of Eugene and produced
a series of programs on cable television which featured
live music, audience participation and political debate.
A
recipient of the Alexander Barnes Memorial Scholarship,
he holds a Masters Degree in Speech Arts and Educational
Theater which he earned at Adelphi University.
For the past six years he has taught Acting for the
Camera and Modern Theater History, and has supervised
theater productions at The State University of New York
at Old Westbury and Adelphi University.
